Stéphane Pallez is a French corporate executive known for a career that bridges public administration, finance, and listed-company leadership. A graduate of Sciences Po Paris, she began her professional journey within the French Ministry of Economy and Finance, where she worked in the General Directorate of the Treasury from 1984 to 2004. Over that period, she held a series of senior responsibilities, including head of the insurance division, overseer of the State’s shareholdings in strategic companies, and later head of European and international affairs. This background gave her deep expertise in regulation, public-sector ownership, financial oversight, and corporate governance. She later moved into senior corporate finance roles. From 2004 to 2011, she served as Deputy Chief Financial Officer of France Télécom-Orange, a listed telecoms group, where she operated in a demanding environment shaped by restructuring, investment decisions, and financial discipline. In 2011, she was appointed Chairwoman and Chief Executive Officer of Caisse Centrale de Réassurance (CCR). In November 2014, she became Chairwoman and Chief Executive Officer of FDJ UNITED, the listed gaming group that she has since led through a major strategic transformation. At FDJ UNITED, Pallez has overseen a broad modernization agenda: the digitalization of the traditional lottery business, product innovation, the expansion of online sports betting, and the development of new business lines such as payments, services, and international B2B activities. Her leadership is closely associated with the company’s shift toward a more digital, diversified, and resilient growth model.
