Thierry Delaporte has been Sodexo SA’s Group Chief Executive Officer since November 10, 2025, following the Board’s decision to adopt a separated governance model, with Sophie Bellon serving as non-executive Chairwoman. His appointment marks the start of a new chapter for Sodexo, with the company highlighting commercial acceleration, disciplined execution, and stronger value creation as top priorities. Delaporte brings more than 30 years of international leadership experience in B2B services and large-scale transformation. He began his career at Arthur Andersen before joining Capgemini in 1995, where he held finance roles across Europe, Asia, Australia-New Zealand, and the United States. From 2009 onward, he took on a series of operational leadership positions in the U.S., including CEO of Global Outsourcing and CEO of the Financial Services Global Business Unit, where he oversaw the integration of iGate, underscoring his expertise in M&A and post-merger integration. In 2016, he joined Capgemini’s leadership team as Global Chief Operating Officer and later served as Deputy CEO from 2018 to 2020. In 2020, he was appointed CEO of Wipro Ltd., one of the world’s leading IT services companies. Over four years, he led a strategic repositioning of the business by reshaping its operating model, organizational structure, and market approach, aiming to accelerate growth and improve profitability. This background has positioned him as a leader with a strong track record in transformation, operational rigor, and global execution. At Sodexo, Delaporte quickly moved to simplify both governance and the management structure. In February 2026, he announced a leaner Global Executive Team designed to speed up decision-making, bring leadership closer to operations, and empower regional business owners. He also assumed direct responsibility for North America from January 1, 2026, reflecting the strategic importance of the region and his mandate to support the turnaround and growth of Sodexo’s largest market.
