Robert Peugeot is a leading figure in French industry and in the governance of major listed companies. A member of the Peugeot family, he has built a career that combines industrial expertise, executive leadership and board-level responsibilities across several prominent groups. He graduated from École Centrale Paris and INSEAD, and began his career in a range of management roles within PSA Peugeot Citroën, where he served on the executive committee from 1998 to 2007, with responsibility for innovation and quality. That experience gave him a deep understanding of competitiveness, operational excellence and industrial transformation. He also led Peugeot Invest, the listed investment company, serving as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from 2002 to 2020, and later as Chairman of the Board until May 2025, when he was named Honorary Chairman. Beyond his long-standing role in the Peugeot ecosystem, Robert Peugeot has become an influential board member in the automotive and industrial sectors. He has served as Vice-Chairman and non-executive director of Stellantis NV since 17 January 2021, within the global group created by the merger of PSA and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.
