Robert Fowlds is a seasoned executive and board-level expert in real estate and finance, with a career shaped at the intersection of investment banking, strategic advisory work, and listed property companies. He has served as a member of Klépierre’s Supervisory Board since April 24, 2018, where he contributes to the oversight and strategic direction of one of Europe’s leading shopping center groups. He is also a member of the Investment Committee, a role that aligns closely with his background in capital allocation, transactions, and disciplined portfolio management. Prior to joining Klépierre, Fowlds worked from 2016 as a senior consultant in real estate and finance. Before that, he held senior leadership positions at JP Morgan Cazenove, where he was Director and head of real estate investment banking for England and Ireland, overseeing teams involved in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, advisory work, and debt financing. He was later promoted to Vice Chairman in 2013. In that capacity, he built extensive expertise in real estate transactions, structured finance, and market-cycle analysis. Earlier in his career, between 1987 and 2006, he held a series of roles at well-known financial institutions including Merrill Lynch, Kleinwort Benson Securities, Crédit Lyonnais Securities, and Morgan Grenfell. This experience gave him a broad and practical understanding of investment banking and European real estate markets. In addition to his role at Klépierre, he also serves as a board member of LondonMetric Property PLC and Helical PLC, underlining his standing as an experienced non-executive director in listed property companies. Fowlds holds a Bachelor of Science in Estate Management from the University of Reading and an MBA in Finance from Bayes Business School. He is also a member of the RICS. His profile combines technical rigor, financial expertise, and governance experience, making him a valuable board member for an international listed real estate group such as Klépierre.
