Pierre Ribeiro is a French corporate executive best known for his long-standing career within the Somfy group. He joined Somfy in 1992 as a management controller at SIMU, one of the group’s subsidiaries, and gradually took on broader responsibilities. From 1997 onward, he was in charge of SIMU’s administrative and financial management, a role that gave him hands-on experience in operational control, financial reporting, and business management. Over time, he held several key positions within Somfy’s finance teams, building a deep understanding of the company’s industrial model, governance framework, and international growth drivers. He was later appointed Chief Financial Officer of the group, where he played a central role in performance monitoring, capital allocation, financial discipline, and the support of strategic decisions. In June 2021, Somfy changed its governance structure and separated the roles of Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer; Pierre Ribeiro was appointed Chief Executive Officer as part of that evolution.
