Pierre-Antoine Vacheron is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Worldline, the major European payments group, a role he has held since March 1, 2025. His appointment was announced by Worldline’s Board of Directors on February 25, 2025, at a pivotal time for the company, as it pursued a strategic transformation and stronger governance. Before joining Worldline, he led BPCE Payments, the payments arm of Groupe BPCE, where he served as CEO from 2018. In that large banking environment, he positioned payments as a strategic pillar for the group, with a clear focus on product innovation, technology simplification, and improved customer service. At BPCE Payments, Pierre-Antoine Vacheron helped build a competitive and modern payments platform spanning card and account-to-account processing, omnichannel commerce, and Banking-as-a-Service through businesses such as Payplug and Xpollens. This role highlighted his ability to manage large-scale operational transformation, steer complex payment infrastructures, and deliver strategy in a highly regulated, fast-moving industry. Prior to BPCE, he led Ingenico Group’s Global Merchant Services and Acquiring division between 2009 and 2017. In that position, he played a key role in the company’s diversification and in its evolution from a hardware-oriented business toward a broader payments services model. He notably oversaw strategic acquisitions such as Ogone and Global Collect, which expanded Ingenico’s international footprint and strengthened its digital capabilities. With more than 30 years of international experience in CEO and CFO roles across banking, retail, and payments, Pierre-Antoine Vacheron is widely recognized for his ability to lead complex transformations, develop payment services platforms, and combine growth ambitions with financial discipline.
