Philippe SIMON is an experienced executive in software, insurance services and healthcare-related technology, with a career closely associated with the Cegedim Group. An engineer by training, he graduated from INSA Rennes with a specialization in computer science. He began his career by building nearly twenty years of experience in business development and in the management of software publishers in France and abroad. Before joining Cegedim in 2004, he developed strong expertise in environments spanning finance, human resources, ERP and IT outsourcing services for large French service groups. This combination of commercial and operational expertise became the foundation of his later leadership responsibilities. Within Cegedim, Philippe SIMON initially led the operational software publishing activities of the Insurance business unit. He then took charge of BPO activities, including outsourced third-party payment and delegated management services. Over time, he expanded his scope to the full business unit, becoming its President in 2014. This phase was marked by stronger commercial momentum and the signing of major contracts in both software and delegated management, helping Cegedim consolidate its leadership in personal insurance-related activities. Since 2023, he has held a group-level deputy general management role, with a broader transverse mandate supporting the development of activities linked to personal insurance. In this position, he leverages his deep sector knowledge, long-standing relationships across the insurance ecosystem and proven ability to shape offers combining software, services and outsourced operations. His career reflects a long-term executive path built on commercial discipline, operational execution, and a strong understanding of regulated markets. He has also taken on governance responsibilities within the group, including board roles in subsidiaries and joint ventures, which further underlines his strategic importance within Cegedim.
