Olivier Goudet is a French business leader known for his long career in global consumer goods, luxury, and investment companies. At Coty, his role has been especially relevant in the context of a global beauty company navigating intense competition, brand portfolio decisions, capital allocation priorities, and operational transformation. Before Coty, Goudet built a career defined by senior financial and executive responsibilities. He began at Mars, Incorporated in 1990, working on the finance team of the French business, and later held several senior positions within the company. He then moved to Valeo, where he served as Group Finance Director. He also became Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Mars and later served as an independent advisor to the Mars board, underscoring a profile that combines financial discipline, strategic judgment, and board-level governance experience. Goudet later became a central figure at JAB, the private investment group behind a range of international consumer brands across coffee, beverages, restaurants, and premium sectors. JAB’s 2024 annual report states that he became Senior Investment Advisor in January 2024 after serving as JAB’s CEO for more than twelve years. During that period, he led JAB’s strategic transformation and helped build major investment platforms, including the coffee and beverage strategy that led to the creation of JDE Peet’s.
