About Mélanie Biessy

Mélanie Biessy is a senior executive at Antin Infrastructure Partners and has been part of the firm since its inception. She currently serves as Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer, and in June 2025 she was also appointed interim Group CFO to ensure an orderly transition and management continuity. That temporary finance role further underlines her importance within Antin’s governance structure and her trusted position in the leadership team. In her COO capacity, she oversees a broad range of core functions, including legal, finance, tax, fund administration, compliance, IT systems and human capital. She also played a leading role in structuring and establishing both Antin and the Antin funds. Before joining Antin, she built deep experience in corporate law, taxation and M&A. She previously served as General Counsel of the Galaxy Fund, a European infrastructure fund, where she represented the fund in negotiations with clients and counterparties and gained wide-ranging exposure to the legal issues involved in infrastructure investing. Earlier in her career, she worked in the tax department of France Telecom, where she developed in-depth M&A expertise. Prior to that, she held legal and tax counsel responsibilities at Egis, a subsidiary of Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations and a leading international engineering company. Her career combines legal sophistication, financial discipline and operational leadership. At Antin, she contributes to the firm’s strong governance framework, control environment and institutional maturity as a listed, international infrastructure investor. In November 2023, she was promoted to Managing Partner alongside other long-standing leaders, reflecting both the confidence placed in her and the firm’s internal promotion culture. Her profile is especially relevant in a public-company environment, where continuity, rigorous oversight and reliable operating infrastructure are essential for sustainable long-term value creation.
