Liza Hoesbergen holds a strategic leadership position at Ayvens, the global mobility and leasing group, where she serves as Chief Legal and Corporate Affairs Officer and also carries governance responsibilities within Ayvens Bank N.V. She is a member of the Group Executive Committee, placing her at the center of strategic decision-making and oversight of legal, regulatory, and corporate governance matters. Her career profile reflects deep expertise in corporate law, board governance, financial regulation, and the management of internationally active organizations. Before joining the LeasePlan/Ayvens environment, Liza Hoesbergen built her foundation in private legal practice in Amsterdam and New York, giving her a strong international perspective early in her career. She joined LeasePlan in 2009 and gradually expanded her responsibilities across the group. As Chief Legal Officer, she served as a trusted advisor to the Managing Board, Executive Committee, and Supervisory Board on the full spectrum of legal, regulatory, and governance issues. That role positioned her close to the group’s most sensitive strategic and compliance topics, particularly in a heavily regulated and fast-evolving industry. At Ayvens, her remit extends well beyond traditional legal oversight. She takes a holistic view of organizational risk, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance, helping ensure that the company’s growth and transformation are supported by robust controls and sound legal infrastructure. Since 2023, she has led legal and corporate affairs for the group, and since 2024 she has also taken on executive responsibilities at Ayvens Bank N.V. More recently, she has additionally overseen human resources on an interim basis, underscoring the breadth of her leadership role and her ability to support critical corporate functions during periods of transition. A graduate of Utrecht University, where she also earned a cum laude postgraduate degree in corporate structures, Liza Hoesbergen combines legal acumen, governance discipline, and executive breadth in a profile well suited to a listed, international, and regulated business.
