Laurent Peyronneau is a French industrial executive known for his career in specialty chemicals and, in particular, adhesives. A graduate of École Centrale de Lyon, he began his career at TotalEnergies in chemical activities related to coatings before taking charge of Cray Valley in South Korea in 2006. This early period gave him strong international experience across Asia and Europe, along with deep expertise in commercial development, business-unit leadership, and industrial operations. In 2010, he joined Bostik, Arkema’s adhesives segment, where he held senior management roles in Asia and then at the global level. He later became Executive Secretary General of Bostik, a position that placed him in charge of key cross-functional areas including finance, M&A, innovation, operations, human resources, and communications. This progression reflects a profile that is both operational and strategic, with the ability to manage organizational transformation while supporting the international growth of complex industrial businesses. In 2017, Laurent Peyronneau continued his career at Arkema as Managing Director of Coatex, and in 2020 he was appointed Director of Coating Additives. These roles placed him at the heart of formulation technologies, performance solutions, and specialty markets where Arkema has been strengthening its footprint. On 8 September 2025, Arkema appointed him Executive Vice President of Adhesives Solutions (Bostik) and a member of the Executive Committee, highlighting his broad management experience within the Group and his strong knowledge of the adhesives business. His mandate includes accelerating Bostik’s development, bringing profitability up to best-in-class levels, and strengthening synergies with Arkema’s other business segments.
