Karine Calvet is an independent director of Lectra SA, the global technology company focused on software, equipment and digital solutions for the fashion, automotive and furniture industries. She joined Lectra’s Board of Directors in 2023 and contributes to the board’s strategic, sustainability and compensation work. In that role, she helps oversee the group’s strategic direction, transformation priorities and governance topics, while bringing an external perspective on competitiveness, digitalization and non-financial performance. Her board involvement comes at a time when Lectra is further strengthening its SaaS model, expanding its digital industrial offering and responding to rising customer expectations around efficiency and sustainability. Before joining Lectra’s board, Karine Calvet built a long career in information technology with substantial international exposure. She began her professional journey in 1993 at CGI and has spent most of her career across IT services, telecommunications and software. Her background spans sixteen years in services companies, seven years in telecommunications and six years in software, giving her a broad understanding of technology business models, transformation programs and partner ecosystems. Over the years, she has held senior leadership positions at major global companies including Capgemini, Alcatel-Lucent, Verizon, Microsoft and Schneider Electric through AVEVA. At Capgemini, she served in an industry-focused leadership role. At Alcatel-Lucent, she led worldwide teams as Vice President for Eastern Europe. At Verizon, she served as Managing Director. Her experience at Microsoft further strengthened her software expertise, as well as her knowledge of direct and indirect channels and IT services. More recently, at Schneider-Aveva, she served first as Vice President for Southern Europe and then as Vice President, Partners and Alliances for EMEA. In that capacity, she worked closely with industrial companies on operational efficiency, safety, cost management, sustainability and decarbonization, leveraging digital technologies to support business performance. A graduate of Sciences Po and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Karine Calvet brings to Lectra a combination of governance experience, strategic partnership leadership and deep expertise in digital transformation for industrial markets.
