Jean-Noël de Galzain is the founder of WALLIX, a French cybersecurity company created in 2003 and now listed on Euronext Paris. He serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of WALLIX Group, and remains the company’s central executive figure. Under his leadership, WALLIX has established itself as one of Europe’s leading players in identity and access security, with a strategy focused on both digital and industrial environments. The company presents its trajectory as the evolution of a Paris-based startup into a European industrial mid-cap, which closely reflects the vision he has driven for more than two decades. His career is closely tied to the development of the French cybersecurity ecosystem. A major milestone was WALLIX becoming the first French cybersecurity company listed in Paris in 2015, a symbolic achievement for the sector. Beyond his role inside the group, he is active in industry-wide initiatives: he serves as Vice-Chairman of the Strategic Committee for the “Security Industry” sector within France’s National Cybersecurity Strategy. He also founded Hexatrust in 2014 and chairs the organization, helping bring together French and European cybersecurity stakeholders. More recently, he launched Cyber Impacts Ventures to support early-stage cybersecurity startups. From a governance and ownership perspective, his family holding JINCO Invest is linked to WALLIX Group and is directed by Jean-Noël de Galzain, underscoring his long-term strategic involvement in the company. Across his career, he has combined entrepreneurial leadership, sector expertise, and institutional engagement, helping position WALLIX as a recognized contributor to Europe’s digital sovereignty and cybersecurity capabilities.
