Jérôme Bruhat is the Chief Executive Officer of Robertet, a global leader in natural raw materials and a major player in fragrances, flavors, and active ingredients for the cosmetics, food, and pharmaceutical industries. Since taking the helm in 2022, he has been tasked with three main priorities: strengthening the company’s core foundations, accelerating international growth, and modernizing operations. His role is central to the governance of a listed, family-controlled and independent group with deep historical roots in Grasse, France, where strategic continuity and innovation are both essential. Before joining Robertet, Bruhat spent the bulk of his career at L’Oréal, which he joined in 1991. Over more than three decades, he held a wide range of senior general management positions across Europe, Asia, and the United States. This international background gave him strong expertise in managing complex markets, building brands, leading multicultural teams, and delivering large-scale commercial execution. In 2013, he became Global Brand President of Maybelline New York, and from 2015 to 2021 he served as President of L’Oréal Japan, one of the most demanding and strategically important beauty markets in the world. At Robertet, he leverages this background in transformation and international expansion. His leadership builds on the group’s historic strengths: a rare vertically integrated model, a “from seed to scent or flavor” value chain, a strong culture of natural-product innovation, and high quality standards. He places particular emphasis on sustainability, traceability, green innovation, and external growth opportunities. Under his leadership, Robertet has further reinforced its CSR momentum, expanded certified supply chains, and increased its focus on industrial and commercial agility.
