Jean-Pascal Tricoire is a leading French corporate executive and board chairman, best known for his long career at Schneider Electric SE, the global specialist in energy management and automation. He joined Schneider Electric in 1986 and built his career across multiple geographies, holding operational and executive roles in France, Italy, China, South Africa, the United States and Hong Kong. In 2001, he joined the executive committee to oversee Schneider’s international division. He became chief operating officer in 2003, chief executive officer in 2006, and then chairman and chief executive officer in 2013. He held the combined chairman and CEO role until 2023. Following a governance change approved by the board on May 4, 2023, he remained chairman of the board while the company separated the CEO role. In November 2024, Olivier Blum was appointed CEO of Schneider Electric SE. During Tricoire’s leadership, Schneider Electric underwent a major strategic transformation into a more digital, software-driven and sustainability-focused industrial group.
