Mathieu Descout represents HENDIGO on the Board of Directors of CBo Territoria, a listed property company and developer with a strong footprint in Réunion Island. He graduated from ESPI and built his career in residential real estate and project development, first in mainland France and then with well-known players in the sector. He began his career at Les Nouveaux Constructeurs before moving to Nexity and then Bécarré, where his responsibilities focused on project development, mainly in residential real estate. These early roles gave him solid expertise in real estate structuring, permits, relationships with local authorities, and the management of complex development operations. In 2014, he joined Novaxia as head of the development division and quickly rose to Managing Director. In that role, he contributed to the structuring and growth of the group through projects with a strong urban transformation and territorial dimension. His responsibilities led him to oversee flagship transactions such as the Hôtel-Dieu project in Paris, demonstrating his ability to work on complex, strategic assets with significant heritage and urban stakes. That experience strengthened his know-how in asset redevelopment, development strategy, and long-term real estate value creation. At CBo Territoria, Mathieu Descout therefore brings a growth-oriented mindset, a strong understanding of property development, and experience in executing real estate operations. His seat on the board on behalf of HENDIGO is also part of the company’s shareholder history, as HENDIGO was long a reference shareholder before control shifted to TOLEFI. His professional background reflects recognized expertise in real estate promotion, project structuring, and large-scale urban transformation. He contributes an operational and strategic perspective that is particularly relevant for a developer-landowner active in demanding regional markets.
