Guy Mamou-Mani is a well-known figure in the French technology and digital-services ecosystem, best identified with the long growth story of Groupe Open. He began his career at CSC-GO International, where he reached the role of President and CEO and also served as head of the solutions division at CSC France. In 1995, he founded the French subsidiary of Manugistics, a leading supply-chain management company, and led it as general manager while also holding European responsibilities for services and marketing until 1998. He joined Open in 1998 and became one of the group’s key leaders. Corporate governance documents show that he served as Chief Executive Officer and later as co-Chairman alongside Frédéric Sebag for many years. In March 2023, Open announced that he would step into the role of M&A Adviser, in charge of identifying acquisition opportunities that support the group’s strategic plan, #Impact24, while remaining an active shareholder and close adviser to the management team. Beyond Open, Mamou-Mani has held influential industry roles. He served as Chairman of Syntec Numérique from 2010 to 2016, one of the main representative bodies for French digital services, software and technology consulting firms. He was also Chairman of MiddleNext from 2006 to 2010, the French association of listed mid-cap companies. In 2016, he was appointed to both the French National Digital Council and the High Council for Gender Equality, underscoring his broader public-policy influence. He is also associated with #JamaisSansElles, an initiative promoting gender-balanced public debate panels. A graduate in mathematics and a former teacher, Mamou-Mani has built a career that combines operational leadership, sector advocacy and governance experience. His profile is especially relevant for topics such as digital transformation, external growth strategy, listed-company governance and the evolution of French technology champions.
