Gianguido Girotti currently holds a key leadership position at Groupe Beneteau, where he serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Boat division. His career reflects a steady rise through the company, grounded in deep technical, commercial, and product expertise in the yachting industry. He graduated in naval architecture from the University of Southampton and began his career working with the naval architect German Frers before moving to Cantiere del Pardo, where he gained experience with brands such as Grand Soleil and Dufour. This early background gave him a strong understanding of boat design, customer expectations, and the technical standards that shape the premium sailing market. He joined the Beneteau brand in May 2015 as Marketing Director for sailboats, and in April 2017 took on responsibility for marketing both sail and powerboats. From 2017 to 2019, he served as General Manager of the BENETEAU brand, before moving into group-level responsibilities as Deputy CEO in charge of brand and product strategy for the Boat division. Since July 2022, he has led the Boat division at Groupe Beneteau. His management approach is characterized by a strong focus on user experience, product innovation, and market segmentation. Under his leadership, the group has accelerated the renewal of its model range, with particular emphasis on aligning design, performance, onboard comfort, and accessibility.
