Franck Lemery is Legrand’s Chief Financial Officer and has been a member of the Group’s Executive Committee since January 1, 2019. Born in 1967, he graduated from ESCP Europe and holds a DESCF degree in accounting and finance. His career reflects a long internal progression within Legrand, built on deep familiarity with the Group’s businesses, operational challenges and international footprint. Before joining Legrand in 1994, he worked as an auditor at Ernst & Young. Once inside the Group, he first held internal audit responsibilities and then served as finance and administration manager across several business entities. In 2008, he was appointed Head of Group Management Control, later taking on internal control and risk management responsibilities as well. This period was important in strengthening Legrand’s financial discipline and governance framework, while also expanding his remit from pure reporting to broader performance oversight and risk supervision. In 2014, Franck Lemery was named Group VP Operations Performance. This role gave him direct exposure to industrial efficiency, margin improvement and the operational drivers of value creation. For a global electrical equipment leader like Legrand, that combination of financial expertise and operational understanding is especially relevant, because it supports better investment decisions, tighter cost control and stronger cash generation. Since 2019, he has served as CFO. In this role, he has a central influence on financial strategy, resource allocation, investor relations, disclosure quality and the robustness of internal control. His regular presence in Legrand’s major strategic events, including CSR roadmap presentations and investor days, shows that finance is not treated as a standalone support function but as an integral part of the Group’s strategic execution.
