Florence Hu-Aubigny holds a key leadership position at Dassault Systèmes, where she serves as Executive Vice-President, Research & Development and has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2020. In this role, she oversees the company’s development activities and is responsible for advancing the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and its solutions across three strategic areas: Manufacturing Industries, Life Sciences & Healthcare, and Infrastructure & Cities. Her remit includes cloud-based, mobile-native offerings designed to make immersive technologies more broadly accessible. She graduated from CESTI, now Supméca, and also earned a postgraduate DEA in Computer Aided Production Management from the École Normale Supérieure in Cachan. She has been awarded the rank of Knight in both the French Legion of Honor and the French Order of Merit, reflecting a career recognized for major contributions to engineering, software development, and industrial innovation. Florence Hu-Aubigny joined Dassault Systèmes in 1991 as part of the Feature Based Modeling team. Over the years, she emerged as one of the company’s leading technical executives, notably driving the rollout of functional modeling technology, which made it possible to automatically generate 3D models while integrating all functional constraints. From 2006 onward, she led projects aimed at diversifying and democratizing 3D technology, including the technological launch of the 3DVIA brand and the development of the 3DSWYM and ENOVIA applications, before becoming Vice President R&D for ENOVIA. In 2011, as Dassault Systèmes positioned itself as “The 3DEXPERIENCE Company,” she took responsibility for the development of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. Her work helped shape a unified environment combining 3D design, simulation, collaborative applications, and data intelligence. Across her career, she has stood out for turning technological breakthroughs into scalable enterprise platforms that support productivity, innovation, and creativity.
