Enrique Martinez Ballesteros is the Chief Executive Officer of Fnac Darty, a leading European omnichannel specialist retailer. His career spans more than 25 years in retail across Spain, Portugal and France, and he is widely recognized for his experience in network development, omnichannel execution, and business transformation. He graduated in Economics and from IESE Business School in Madrid. He joined Fnac in 1998 with the assignment of establishing and developing the brand in Portugal. He then held several positions across Spain and Portugal before joining the group’s Executive Committee in 2004 as Managing Director for the Iberian region. In 2012, he was appointed head of Fnac for France and Northern Europe, covering France, Belgium and Switzerland. Since 2017, he has served as CEO of the Fnac Darty group and as a member of its Board of Directors. In this role, he has overseen the first major synergies between Fnac and Darty, helping to build a more integrated and resilient group with a stronger focus on service-led value creation. More recently, he led the acquisition of Unieuro in Italy, strengthening the group’s European footprint and becoming Chairman in 2025. Under his leadership, Fnac Darty has accelerated its shift toward a model built on omnichannel retail, data-driven decision-making, circularity and high-value services. The Everyday strategic plan, launched in 2021, reflects this direction: reinforce the group’s European leadership, develop third-party services, and position Fnac Darty as a benchmark for sustainable and responsible retail. His tenure is characterized by disciplined execution, a deep understanding of consumer behavior shifts, and a long-term strategic vision for the group.
