Didier Debrosse is an independent director of Verallia, the international glass packaging group. His career reflects the profile of a seasoned executive built across major consumer goods businesses, with substantial exposure to sales, operations, human resources and top management. Before serving as a board member, he held senior leadership positions at Beiersdorf Nivea, Mondelez International and Heineken, which gave him broad experience in consumer-facing markets, distribution networks and the management of multinational organizations. At Heineken, he successively led the French, Western European and Brazilian businesses, placing him at the center of growth strategies in highly competitive and regulated environments. This international background has given him a wide perspective on complex organizations, operational performance and the local adaptation of global business models. His professional path also includes responsibilities in purchasing, human resources and general management, following an early career in sales. That progression shows a comprehensive understanding of the company value chain, from customer relationships and revenue generation to organizational transformation and talent development. He also played an active role in two major acquisitions for Heineken: S&N in 2008 and Brasil Kirin in 2016. These transactions provided him with significant expertise in post-merger integration, business consolidation and engagement with competition authorities. As a board member, Didier Debrosse has also served at Chr. Hansen in Denmark and Compania Cervecerias Unidas in Chile. He is currently Chairman of the Boards of Baru Panama and FIFCO in Costa Rica. At Verallia, his role is to support the board’s strategic oversight, contribute to governance quality and bring the perspective of an experienced international operator with deep knowledge of consumer markets, industrial transformation and acquisition-led growth.
