Delphine Jacquemont holds a key position at Mersen, the listed industrial group specializing in electrical specialties and advanced materials, where she serves as Group Legal Vice President and Secretary of the Board of Directors. She joined Mersen in February 2020 and became a member of the Executive Committee in March 2023, underscoring the strategic importance of the legal function within the company’s governance framework. In this role, she contributes directly to compliance, corporate governance, risk management, and the preparation and support of Board decision-making. Before joining Mersen, Delphine Jacquemont built a career spanning more than 25 years within EDF’s legal department, where she supported the group’s international expansion and handled complex matters related to business law, contractual structuring, and cross-border operations. She then practiced for three years as an attorney specialized in international business law, further strengthening her expertise in multinational transactions and regulatory environments. She graduated from Sciences Po Paris and the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. Her background combines legal rigor, a deep understanding of governance issues, and an appreciation of industrial and international business realities. She also teaches in the Master 2 program at Sciences Po Law School, reflecting both her academic ties and her recognized expertise in business law.
