Clotilde Lemarié has served as a director of Burelle SA since her first appointment on 2 June 2017. In this listed family-controlled holding company, she contributes to board-level oversight of a group organized around three core businesses: OPmobility, Sofiparc and Burelle Participations. Her role is especially relevant in a governance framework where strategic supervision, long-term stewardship and disciplined oversight are central. As of 2024, her term was set to run until 2026, reflecting the continuity of her mandate on the board. By training, Clotilde Lemarié is a lawyer with a strong international academic background. She holds a Master’s degree in Private Law, a DEA in Private International Law from Université Paris I – Panthéon-Sorbonne, and an LLB in English Law and French Law from King’s College London. She also holds a Chinese language diploma from INALCO, which is a distinctive asset in cross-border legal practice. She is admitted to the Paris Bar, qualified as a Barrister in England and Wales, and admitted as an Attorney-at-Law in New York State. Her professional career began in 2006 at Gide Loyrette Nouel in international arbitration, first in Paris and then in London. She joined Pinsent Masons LLP in London in 2010, before being appointed partner in international arbitration at Gide Loyrette Nouel in London in 2014. From 2016 to 2021, she worked as counsel in international arbitration at Pinsent Masons LLP, advising on major international projects in energy, construction and infrastructure. This background gives her deep expertise in complex contracts, dispute resolution and risk management across jurisdictions. She is also Chair of the Board of Garamond SA, further underscoring her experience as a corporate governance professional in high-stakes, cross-border environments.
