Christian Stein is an experienced automotive executive and currently serves as Chief Communications Officer of Renault Group. His career has been built on strong expertise in sales, marketing and communications, developed across several major European automakers. He began his career in 1991 at PSA, where he spent twenty years taking on progressively broader responsibilities in sales and marketing. During that period, he worked across Belgium, France, Spain and the United Kingdom, gaining a valuable understanding of both local market dynamics and international management. In 2011, he joined Volkswagen Group as Global Marketing Director for the SEAT brand. This move marked a transition toward broader global responsibilities at the intersection of brand development, product positioning and international communications. From 2015, he served as Global Communications and Public Affairs Director for SEAT S.A. and its SEAT and CUPRA brands, strengthening his expertise in media relations, public affairs and reputation building in a highly competitive automotive environment. Christian Stein returned to France and joined Renault Group in November 2020 as Director of Brand Communications.
