Christian Cassayre is a French senior executive widely identified with the construction and concessions sector, and more specifically with the financial leadership of major infrastructure groups. Born in 1965 and a graduate of Toulouse Business School, he has built his career around administrative, financial, and strategic roles in complex, capital-intensive environments. He began his professional journey at Campenon Bernard in 1990 as a subsidiary administrative manager, before being promoted in 1998 to Administrative and Financial Director for Europe. That early experience gave him strong exposure to cross-border operations, financial control, and risk management in technically demanding businesses. In 2001, Cassayre joined Vinci Construction Grands Projets, a business line focused on large international contracts and sophisticated project structuring. He was appointed Chief Financial Officer and a member of the management committee in 2006, and in 2010 he became responsible for financial coordination of the Grands Projets division. These positions broadened his expertise in project finance, long-term funding structures, cash-flow management, and the governance discipline required in highly project-driven businesses. Since July 2011, he has served as Chief Financial Officer of the Eiffage group, one of Europe’s leading construction and concessions companies. In this role, he is a key figure in the group’s financial strategy, overseeing liquidity management, balance-sheet optimization, investor communication, and the financial support of major strategic decisions. He also contributes to the presentation of results and to the management of issues related to both financial performance and broader corporate responsibility. Cassayre is also involved in the governance of the Eiffage Foundation as part of the founder’s college, reflecting a broader cross-functional role within the group’s ecosystem. His profile combines deep corporate finance expertise, a long track record in major projects, and strong knowledge of listed-company governance. He is therefore a central executive in Eiffage’s leadership structure, operating at the intersection of financial performance, strategic oversight, and long-term value creation.
