Aris Constantinides is a seasoned investor with more than 20 years of experience financing innovative, high-growth companies, with a particular focus on healthcare, medtech and biotechnology. At Kreos Capital, now within the BlackRock ecosystem, he serves as a General Partner and is responsible for originating, evaluating and managing transactions across the firm’s target geographies, mainly in Europe and the United Kingdom, with a strong emphasis on the healthcare sector. He also contributes to the overall management and strategic direction of the firm. Before joining Kreos in 2016, Aris Constantinides founded and built NBGI Ventures’ investment platform, establishing it as a leading European medtech investor. In that role, he led investments in a broad range of innovative companies across Europe and the United States and helped deliver several successful exits through M&A transactions and IPOs. His earlier career includes senior positions at Deutsche Bank within DB Capital Partners and at Credit Suisse First Boston through Cabot Square Capital, where he was involved in investments across multiple sectors. His background combines strong technical and financial training. He holds mechanical engineering degrees from MIT and Imperial College, as well as an MBA from INSEAD. This blend of engineering and investment expertise is particularly valuable in life sciences, where understanding both the underlying technology and the financing pathway is essential.
