Antoine Arnault is a key figure in the governance of LVMH and the Christian Dior ecosystem. After a multicultural upbringing between France and the United States, and studies at HEC Montréal, he founded an internet company in 2000 specializing in domain-name registration. He later sold his stake and joined LVMH through Louis Vuitton, where he first held commercial responsibilities, including as Head of the Province Network in France, before becoming Communications Director after completing an MBA at INSEAD in 2005. This early experience gave him a strong understanding of brand building, retail execution, and image management in the luxury sector. Within LVMH, Antoine Arnault built a reputation as a strategic leader with a strong sensitivity to branding and public positioning. In 2011, he was appointed CEO of Berluti, where he helped strengthen the Maison’s identity, elevate its positioning, and expand its international visibility. That same year, he launched “Les Journées particulières,” a landmark initiative that opened the workshops and behind-the-scenes craftsmanship of the Group’s Maisons to the public, reinforcing LVMH’s emphasis on heritage and savoir-faire. In 2013, he became Chairman of Loro Piana, a role he held until 2025, supporting the Maison’s development in the ultra-premium segment. More recently, in December 2022, he was appointed CEO and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Christian Dior SE, further expanding his role in governance within the Arnault family’s business architecture. In 2024, he also became Chairman of Berluti’s Supervisory Board. Since 2020, he has overseen LVMH’s image, communications, and sustainable development projects, and he joined the Group Executive Committee. His expertise lies at the crossroads of marketing, brand strategy, institutional communications, and craftsmanship transmission. He has played a significant role in modernizing the storytelling of LVMH Maisons, strengthening their global appeal, and aligning brand expression with sustainability and long-term value creation. His career illustrates a deep understanding of contemporary luxury, where heritage, desirability, and social responsibility must coexist to sustain leadership.
