Anthony Plouvier is an experienced automotive executive and currently serves as Chief Procurement Officer at Renault Group, where he is also a member of the Leadership Team. A graduate of École des Mines de Nancy, he brings more than 20 to 25 years of experience in purchasing, procurement transformation, and cost optimization. His career has been built across France, Türkiye, and Japan, with responsibilities at Renault, Nissan, and Mitsubishi, giving him a strong international perspective on supplier management, industrial partnerships, and value creation in a highly competitive sector. Before being appointed Chief Procurement Officer on September 1, 2025, Plouvier held senior roles within Renault Group, including Vice-President Procurement Strategy and Transformation. He also led cost-optimization initiatives across engineering and manufacturing, particularly during the Resurrection phase of the Renaulution strategic plan, a critical period in Renault Group’s profitability recovery. These roles placed him at the center of procurement performance, operational efficiency, and the broader transformation of the company’s industrial model. His expertise spans procurement strategy, total delivery cost, supply-base competitiveness, and cross-functional transformation. In his current position, he is expected to strengthen purchasing competitiveness while deepening supplier partnerships to support innovation, execution speed, and industrial resilience.
