About ANNE LE GUENNEC

Anne Le Guennec currently holds a strategic leadership position at Veolia Environnement as CEO of the Water Technologies zone and a member of the Group Executive Committee. An engineer educated at the University of Technology of Compiègne, she joined Veolia in 1998. Her career reflects a steady rise through the organization, shaped by deep experience in field operations, business development, technical management, and international leadership. She began her professional journey in France within the waste and cleaning activities, before expanding her responsibilities across a broader range of technical, commercial, and managerial roles. In 2003, she was appointed project director for the construction of drinking water production plants, an important milestone that strengthened her expertise in water infrastructure. In 2008, she became technical director for Veolia’s Water, Sanitation, and Electricity activities in Morocco, and later moved to the Middle East as Commercial Director for Water, Waste, and Energy. She subsequently led Enova, a Veolia joint venture with Majid Al Futtaim focused on energy management services across the Middle East. In 2019, she was appointed head of Veolia’s Waste activities in France, where she oversaw a major business with a large workforce and a substantial industrial footprint. Since April 2023, she has been in charge of Veolia’s global Water Technologies zone, a highly strategic business area as water scarcity, industrial efficiency, and ecological transformation have become central priorities for customers and governments. Her profile combines operational credibility, international exposure, and long-standing expertise in environmental services, making her one of Veolia’s most experienced senior executives.
