Alain Patrick Dassas is a highly experienced corporate finance and governance executive, best known today for his role on Altarea’s supervisory board. As the permanent representative of APG, he serves as an independent board member and chairs the remuneration committee. That position places him at the center of executive compensation oversight, performance alignment, and broader board governance at one of France’s major listed real-estate groups. At Altarea, he supports a governance model designed for long-term value creation and the transition toward low-carbon urban development. He holds a degree from ESCP Europe, along with a master’s degree in econometrics and a Master in Management Science from Stanford University. Dassas began his career in 1973 at Chase Manhattan Bank. In 1983, he joined Renault, where he held a succession of senior finance roles: head of the financial office in New York, head of banking and capital markets relations, chief financial officer of Renault Crédit International, head of financial operations, and head of financial services. In 2003, he became a member of Renault Group’s executive committee and also served as chairman of Renault F1 Team. In 2007, he moved to Nissan Motor Company in Tokyo as chief financial officer and executive committee member. From 2010 onward, he served as Group CFO of Segula Technologies, and later focused on advisory work through Dassas Consulting and Aesara Partners. His career reflects deep expertise in corporate finance, capital markets, risk management, and international governance. Through his board mandates, including at Altarea and RCI Finance Maroc, Dassas brings a seasoned perspective shaped by top-tier industrial and automotive groups. His Renault-Nissan background and long finance leadership track record make him particularly relevant on topics such as financial discipline, organizational steering, investor dialogue, and compensation policy.
