Insider transactions in Croatia: HANFA and the Zagreb Stock Exchange
HANFA's version of Article 19
HANFA, the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency, is the competent authority for the Market Abuse Regulation. Its guidance is direct: a manager or a closely associated person must notify HANFA and the issuer immediately, and at the latest three working days after an acquisition or disposal. The duty starts once acquisitions and disposals in a calendar year exceed EUR 20,000; from then on every transaction is reported.
That figure is the EU default introduced by Regulation (EU) 2024/2809. ESMA's list of national deviations, dated 21 May 2026, contains no Croatian entry.
SRPI, then the exchange and HINA
The issuer sends the notification to HANFA through SRPI, the official register of regulated information, on the template annexed to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2016/523. It then publishes it on the websites of the Zagreb Stock Exchange and of the HINA news agency, and on its own site.
On the exchange side, notices appear in EHO, the Zagreb Stock Exchange service that issuers use to publish inside, regulated and other information. This is the listing our Croatian feed reads.
Thirty days before the numbers
HANFA also reminds managers of the closed period: no trading in the issuer's shares or related instruments during the 30 calendar days before an interim or annual financial report is published, subject to the exceptions listed in Article 19. Expect clusters of Zagreb filings in the days after results.
Euro-native figures
Croatia adopted the euro on 1 January 2023 at 7.53450 kuna per euro, so recent Croatian amounts need no conversion. Rows are per-trade: the attached Article 19 PDF is parsed for person, price and volume, and a row found only in the listing keeps low confidence until its PDF is read.
