Sébastien Esc Ignotis is currently Chairman of the Board of Roctool, a listed company on Euronext Growth specializing in induction technologies for plastic and composite molding. His appointment as chairman became effective on January 1, 2026, after he joined the board in connection with Roctool’s capital increase at the end of 2025. Roctool states that he succeeded Jean-Marie Demeautis at a time when the company was refocusing on industrial performance, innovation, and execution. Trained as a mechanical engineer, Sébastien Esc Ignotis built his career in Asia starting in the early 2000s. He joined Flex, formerly Flextronics, in 2006, where he held several roles in project development. In 2010, he was appointed head of engineering at the company’s largest site, and later led the development center for new customer programs and technologies. In that role, he deployed Roctool technology for major accounts such as Amazon, Motorola, Dyson, and Apple, demonstrating strong expertise in industrialization, technology rollout, and key-account management. In 2020, he founded his own company to support an aerospace client. Roctool says the business has delivered double-digit growth and consolidated three production sites in Asia, in Singapore, Zhuhai, and Shanghai. That background points to hands-on experience in multi-site industrial operations, geographic expansion, and production optimization. As board chairman, his responsibilities now include overseeing governance, reinforcing strategic discipline, and supporting Roctool’s international acceleration across Europe, the United States, and Asia.
