Pierre-Éric Saint-André is a French business leader known for his career at the crossroads of digital infrastructure, energy, and international construction within the Bouygues Group. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Bouygues Construction effective January 1, 2026, after a steady progression through senior roles across the Group. He also joined the Bouygues SA General Management Committee, underlining his importance in the group’s governance. Before taking this role, Pierre-Éric Saint-André co-founded Axione, a leading player in telecom infrastructure and public service delegations linked to France’s very high-speed broadband rollout. Following Bouygues Construction’s acquisition of Axione at the end of 2005, he joined the Bouygues Group and became Managing Director of Axione. This first major leadership phase helped him build deep expertise in concessions, public-private partnerships, and long-term network infrastructure, while shaping a management style focused on complex, growth-oriented projects. From 2011 onward, he expanded his responsibilities to include Renewable Energy activities at Bouygues Energies & Services, and later infrastructure related to power generation and transmission. In 2017, he moved to Bouygues Bâtiment International in Asia, where he became Chairman of Dragages Hong Kong and Executive Vice President responsible for Asia-Pacific. In that role, he oversaw high-value construction projects and contributed to external growth initiatives, including the acquisition of AW Edwards in Australia in 2018. He was appointed CEO of Bouygues Bâtiment International in 2021, then Deputy CEO of Bouygues Construction in charge of the Bâtiment International business in 2022.
